England was the first country which put this idea of making a day especially for mothers. This idea was basically to make their mothers feel good. In ancient times many people, who used to work as worker, servants, sweepers etc they used to get a holiday on Sunday to spend a day with their Mother. This is how “Mothering Sunday” this term became familiar to lots of citizen of England. On this day people used to spend a whole day with their mother and used to try all possible things to make their mother feel happy. Until 1915, Mother’s Day had not that much importance. And till the time this day did not become official holiday. But later this day become so popular and much liked and even today 46 countries celebrate this day. Well the reason behind this day it the eternal love of Anna Jarvis for her mother. If we talk about Anna Jarvis and she is truly an inspiration to all of us. Being a girl, she never hesitated of anything and helped her parents to her last extend. Anna used to love her mother a lot. She used to take care of a garden filled with her mom’s favorite flowers. This is an unspoken care which Anna used to do for her mother. As this day is very familiar to each and every child so not only Anna but each one of us should take care of our mothers. In this article I am going to write some of my lines (Written by my own) for my sweet mummy to show my care and love for her.
All my life, you have held my hand and showed me the way
I am unable to express my love and care in words.
I just want to say that I love you and I will be there for you just the way you were there for me.
